On my family Tree I have Mary BEHENNA christened 31/1/1808 at Lelant, Cornwall UK (died 1869). Mary married at Stapleton, Bristol 24/3/1835 Samuel BRODRIBB born circa 1800 at Clutton,(died in Bristol 20/6/1876) They had a son John Henry (later Sir Henry Irving) born 6/2/1838 at Keinton Mandeville (died 13/10/1905 at Bradford) he married Florence 0'CALLAGHAN on 15th July 1869 at St.Marylebone,London. They had two sons Henry Brodribb IRVING born 5/8/1870 married Dorothea BAIRD July 1896, and Henry died in 1919. 2nd son Lawrence Sidney IRVING born 21/12/1871 married Mabel HACKNEY, both drowned 29 May 1914 on 'Empress of Ireland' survived by a daughter Dorothy (Lady Brunner) born 1906 who married and had two sons. (Unknown as yet) and a son Lawrence who died in Nov 1988 and is suvived by a son and daughter, though not known. On watching a Time Team programme a few years back now, where they were doing a 'dig' at a Roman Baths near a golf course in the Hastings area, Sussex, I think it was, A Gerald Brodribb was a founder of the site. He wrote to me, but sadly died before we got anywhere on the Behenna Family Tree. I like to think I am a distant cousin of Sir Henry Irving, and if all the info gathered is correct, then we share his 3xgt Grandfather who is my 6xgt Grandfather. If you reply to this, and trust me with your email address I will forward you a copy of the St.Erth Behenna Tree that was compiled by another Behenna member, but not of my/our line. It would be interesting to know how and where you fit into this, so we can get a new completed tree together, as what I have via Walter is out of date, as I have Grandchildren missing on what I have. I hope to update Walter shortly, but will wait for your reply. If you link to this line, with your permission, I will forward your email to Walter too, who I am sure will be interested in contacting you, so long as he is in good health, not heard from in ages. I wait in great anticipation. Regards Pauline Tilley (nee BROCK)
