Do the names Victor Montefiore and Pearl and Edie Vandenberg mean anything to anyone? I have a book of Hamlet which appears to be from the Lyceum. Inside is a dedication dated 1877/1897? signed by Henry Irving accepting the dedication of this edition of Hamlet to which he wishes every success. Then there is a later dedication of the book to Victor Montefiore from Pearl and Edie Vandenberg. I would be grateful for any information as to who they may be. It is a most beautiful book with colour plates by Harold Copping.
