I am currently researching the fire at the Lyceum Storage under the railway arches in Southwark in 1898. I am familiar with Bram Stoker's detailed account in his Reminiscence of Henry Irving. I am searching for any additional documentary material about this fire, and I would greatly appreciate being pointed in the right direction by anyone in this forum. Does anyone have any contemporary newspaper accounts (which, unfortunately, are somewhat difficult for me to search myself.) Any primary documents, such as reports by fire officials or the police, would be invaluable. Were any illustrations or even photographs of the event ever made? Many thanks, Mark Starr [email protected]
