I'm very sorry to tell members of the Irving Society that I have had to cancel my presentation on The Dead Heart, which had been scheduled for 1 November at University College London. I've just been released from hospital after having a severe allergic reaction to something I ate on Tuesday. I was unable even to travel to London. I'm in the process of rescheduling my visit, however, and am in touch with Michael Kilgarriff on ways to make my work on The Dead Heart available to members.
