This might have been in Irving's early days, the 1860's. After success he took his own company regularly to Dublin but I have not traced either names in the Irving programmes. What is your source of this information? What do you have on your grandfather and what was his real name? If you have access to the Dublin press then I will sort dates for you to search. Best to locate the Dublin theatre collection. There must be one.
