central figure to late Victorian Theatre, the Society promotes the
study of his artistic achievements at the Royal Lyceum Theatre, London,
and his cultural contributions to Nineteenth Century Society, both in
the U.K. and the U.S.A. The Society publishes a twice-yearly
Journal, First Knight, and a quarterly newsletter, The Irvingite. It arranges
lectures
and exhibitions and endeavours to safe-guard memorabilia and places
